First Men's Volleyball player to be named All-American, and the first to enter the LMU Hall of Fame. Named American Volleyball Coaches Association First-Team All-American in 2000 and Second-Team All-American as a sophomore and junior. Also earned Second-Team All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation honors as a junior, and Honorable Mention All-MPSF as a sophomore. Led the Lions in kills a as a sophomore (391), junior (435) and senior (639). A four-time Olympian, including a 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist at the Beijing Olympics. Also earned a Bronze Medal at the 2016 Rio Games. Was a 2000 U.S. Olympic Team Alternate and player on the 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016 squads.
