Alex Cowling closed out her LMU career as arguably the best player to don a Lion uniform. Upon her departure, she ranked No. 1 in the LMU career-record book in points (2,219), scoring average (17.5 ppg), field goals (823), field goal attempts (1,796), free throws (452), free-throw attempts (558), rebounds (939) and games played (127). She also ranked fifth in three-point field goals (121), seventh in three-point field goal percentage (.353), sixth in rebounding average (7.4), eighth in steals (190), fifth in starts (101) and third in minutes played (3,901). Cowling’s accolades include being named a four-time Preseason All-WCC selection, three-time First Team All-WCC selection, WCC Newcomer of the Year and WCC All-Freshman Team.
