Metter was named West Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2011 and 2013, and Co-Defensive Player of the Year in 2012. Metter garnered honorable mention All-West Coast Conference honors as a sophomore, junior and senior, and finished her career as LMU's all-time leader in digs and aces, amassing 1,802 digs and 170 aces over a four-year career. The digs mark was good for fourth in WCC history at the end of her career, while the aces ranked fifth. Her .39 aces per set ranked second only to Lori Rodman (.45 from 1984-87) in the LMU record book, while her 4.10 digs per set were second only to Kerry House (4.89 from 1989-90). She Helped guide LMU to the 2012 NCAA Tournament. Metter was also a standout in LMU's beach volleyball program, earning All-American honors and reaching the final four with partner Litara Keil in 2014. She earned another All-American honor with Sarah Sponcil in 2014-15 as a redshirt senior in beach volleyball.
