LOS ANGELES – The West Coast Conference has announced the 2026 Men's Basketball All-Academic Team. LMU is one of four schools represented with two members selected to the All-Academic team with both Rick Issanza and Jan Vide earning spots on the team. Additionally, Myron "MJ" Amey received Honorable Mention honors.
 
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the West Coast Conference selects an all-academic squad for each conference-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to his team and in at least their second year at their school.
 
The Lions will open the 2026 Credit Union 1 West Coast Conference Men's Basketball Championship on Thursday night at 8:30 PM against San Diego. The entire event will run from March 5-10 at the Orleans Arena. Tickets to the tournament are available here.
