LOS ANGELES - After registering a pair of four-goal outputs at home last weekend, the LMU women's soccer team will look to carry its momentum as it crosses town to face USC on Friday before returning to Sullivan Field for a clash against Saint Francis U.
Friday's contest, set for 4:30 p.m., can be seen live on the Pac-12 Network, while Sunday's match can be streamed through the LMU Sports Network.
Streaking
With its 12th straight win on Sunday, the Lions extended their record for wins in-a-row on their home turf. Previously, the 2008 squad won 10 in-a-row on Sullivan Field, while 2009 would open up its home slate with a draw before reeling off a record of 5-0-2 until LMU suffered its first defeat in over a year to then-ranked No. 16 UCSD.
Last Time Out
The LMU women's soccer team extended its win streak at Sullivan Field to 12 as it cruised past Ball State, 4-0, Sunday morning at Sullivan Field. After outshooting the Cardinals, 10-1, in the opening half, the Lions broke through for a trio of scores in the second frame to tab its second four-goal output at home in as many games.

Shut It Down
LMU recorded its first shutout of the season with a 4-0 blanking of Ball State on Sunday. The Lions fell just one shutout shy of the program record a season ago, tabbing 12 shutouts en route to a Sweet 16 appearance.
Light It Up
For the second year in-a-row, LMU has netted a total of eight goals in its opening games at Sullivan Field. Last season, the Lions opened its home slate with a 3-0 blanking of Bucknell before pounding Detroit, 5-1.
Feeling Honored
Junior forward Pilar Torres made her mark last weekend, scorching a pair of scores to earn WCC Player of the Week honors. The Wake Forest transfer netted her first career goal as a Lion at No. 18 Long Beach State Sept. 2 to hand the Beach its first loss of the season and followed with another goal as part of a 4-0 rout of Ball State on Sunday.

Scouting USC
The Trojans boast a 3-2-0 mark and are coming off two wins against SEC opponents as part of the Auburn Soccer Classic. USC downed Georgia, 3-0, before topping Auburn, 2-0.
Redshirt senior Sammy Jo Prudhomme tabbed a career-high nine saves against the Bulldogs and followed with eight stops against the Tigers en route to earning Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week honors.
On the offensive side, Alex Anthony leads the Trojans with a team-high four goals and two assists.
The Series
The Trojans are 8-4-3 all-time against the Lions and claimed a 5-1 in their last matchup. All four of LMU's wins have come at home, while the Trojans are 4-0-1 all-time against the Lions on McAlister Field.

Scouting Saint Francis U
The Red Flash holds a 1-5 mark on the season, with four of its matches decided by one goal.
Sophomores Julia Hernan and Sara Suler took home the Northeast Conference Defender and Player of the Week honors this week. Suler netted the game-winner in a 1-0 win over UMBC on Sunday, while Hernan tabbed four saves in her first shutout of the season. Hernan has halted 43 shots this season, good for the No. 7 rank in the nation.
The Series
LMU and SFU will resume the series after a nine-year hiatus, with the Lions taking the opening match, 2-0, in 2006.
