SAN BRUNO, Calif. – LMU women's soccer standouts
Emma Gustad Myklebust and
Callan Harrington earned postseason recognition from the West Coast Conference this week, highlighting the Lions' strong 2025 campaign.
Myklebust garnered WCC All-Academic Honors following another stellar season that showcased her excellence both on the pitch and in the classroom. The junior defender found the back of the net three times while maintaining academic distinction despite a rigorous engineering curriculum.
Joining Myklebust on the academic honor roll were teammates
Kylie Dobbs, Harrington, and
Alice Zimmerman, who each received honorable mention recognition.
On the field, Harrington's impact earned her All-WCC Second Team honors after completing her first full season with the Lions. The senior striker was a constant threat in the attacking third, tallying six goals and one assist while serving as a go-to scoring option whenever she touched the ball in dangerous areas. Over her two seasons at LMU, Harrington has accumulated nine goals and two assists.
Between the posts, junior goalkeeper
JJ Hoover collected Honorable Mention All-Conference recognition after her third consecutive strong season. Hoover posted an impressive 1.51 goals against average while stopping better than 80 percent of shots faced, providing a reliable last line of defense for the Lions.
