Career Stats & Records | Senior Interview on LMUSN | WCC First Round Press Conference on LMUSN | LMU on Facebook | LMU on Twitter

LAS VEGAS - The journeymen careers of seniors Ayodeji Egbeyemi, Chase Flint and Godwin Okonji came to a close on Friday night in Las Vegas, and the trio puts a wrap on a run together that will be hard to match in terms of work done in the trenches. All told the three combined to play 7,531 minutes in 316 games with 229 combined starts.

Those numbers are hard to match by any trio in the LMU record books. In terms of total games, it might not be matched as Okonji finishes second all-time with 126 games, Egbeyemi tied for fifth with 117 and Flint, who transferred to LMU as a sophomore, finished with 73.

The most famous trio of 25 years ago played 277 games together. In terms of starts, Jeff Fryer, Bo Kimble and Hank Gathers started 226. This year's graduating trio combined to start 229 as Okonji ranks fifth with 98 starts in his career. Egbeyemi finished 10th with 86.

The minutes logged by Egbeyemi, Flint and Okonji where about starting a foundation for things to come.

"We didn't have the amount of success you would like, but I feel like we were able to establish a way of doing things that will lead to success," said Egbeyemi. "They will win in the future."

The trio talked to LMU Sports Network before the start of the WCC tournament, speaking about their most memorable moments at LMU, what they learned in their time at LMU and how they leave better individuals. Egbeyemi and Okonji spoke to the media following their final game and talked about the Lions' future. Their comments and highlights from their final game and can be seen on the LMU Sports Network.

"I feel like we are prepared for what is next in our lives," said Egbeyemi before the WCC tournament.

Okonji has 167 rebounds this season, giving him 610 in his career. He is the 27th Lion to top 500 rebounds in a career, ranking 16th all-time at LMU. He has 104 steals in his career, ranking 24th, and his 96 career blocks is ranked fourth all-time.

As for Flint and Egbeyemi, they have already earned their Bachelor degrees and both are in master programs at LMU. Egbeyemi is in the MBA program while Flint is in the Elementary Education program. They both have been named to the 2014-15 West Coast Conference Men's Basketball All-Academic Team. It is just the fifth time in school history the Lions have multiple selections on the All-Academic Team.
