The LMU women's volleyball team (23-8) advanced to the second round of play on Thursday night following a four-set victory over #13 Colorado State (26-4). The Lions defeated the Rams by scores of 25-20, 16-25, 25-19, 25-15, and will play #6 Stanford (23-6) tonight at 7 pm in the round of 32 of the NCAA Women's Volleyball Championships. Highlights from last night's victory are below.

CELEBRATE WITH THE LIONS
It has been a banner year for the fall sports at LMU and help us celebrate the Lions' success. We will honor the women's volleyball team and the women's soccer team during the LMU Men's Basketball game against UC Riverside on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 3 pm. A special tribute to both of these teams advancing in the NCAA tournament will be done throughout the game and with special introductions at halftime. In addition, the volleyball team will return home mid-afternoon on Saturday. Fans are encouraged to welcome the Lions home when they arrive on campus around 1 pm.
