The Lions will open play at home when they host a tournament that will feature NCAA Tournament participants UCLA and Cal State Fullerton, as well as Quinnipiac. The Lions will open their tournament matches with a clash against Cal State Fullerton on August 26 at 7 p.m. before playing Quinnipiac and UCLA on August 27.

After the home tournament, LMU will hit the road for three more tournaments beginning with the Active Ankle Challenge hosted by Oregon State from September 4-5. LMU will meet Seattle University and Oregon State on September 4 before concluding tournament play with a match against Cal State Bakersfield on September 5.

The Lions next travel to Lexington, Ky. for three matches at the UK Invitational on September 9-10. West Virginia and LMU will square-off on September 9 before the Lions play NCAA Tournament qualifier Kentucky and Houston the following day.

The final regular-season tournament of the year will be played from September 16-17 in Stockton, Calif. as part of the Hilton Stockton Invitational hosted by the University of Pacific. LMU opens tournament play against UC Riverside before also playing Pacific on September 16.

The conference season kicks-off on September 22 on the road when the Lions travel to Gonzaga and Portland (September 24) for matches. LMU will then return home to host BYU in the first home event against the newest member of the WCC on September 29. The match with the Cougars will be volleyball's centennial match as part of LMU's yearlong celebration of its first 100 years. Matches against Saint Mary's (October 1), Pepperdine (October 6) and UC Santa Barbara (October 7) finish a four-match home stand for the Lions.

After four matches in Gersten Pavilion, LMU hits the road for four more, traveling to San Francisco (October 13) and NCAA Tournament qualifier San Diego (October 15) before traveling back to the Bay Area for matches against Santa Clara (October 20) and Saint Mary's (October 22).

Portland and Gonzaga make their annual trip to LMU on October 27 and 29, respectively, before LMU makes its first trip to Provo, Utah to play BYU on November 3. After the single road match, LMU hosts Santa Clara on November 5 before driving down PCH for a matchup with Pepperdine on the road on November 10.

The Lions will play two of their final three matches of the regular season at home, hosting San Diego (November 12) and San Francisco (November 19) to close WCC play. The regular season comes to an end on November 23 on the road as the Lions travel to NCAA Tournament qualifier Long Beach State for a match at 7 p.m.

The LMU volleyball team ended the 2010 season, the first under head coach Tom Black, last November with an even 15-15 overall record and a 6-8 mark in the WCC to claim fourth overall. Before embarking on the 2011 season, LMU will welcome back former players for the annual Alumnae Match on August 20 at 1 p.m.
