Briefly
If it's the first weekend of West Coast Conference play, then it must mean LMU is facing Pepperdine. This Friday's meeting marks the 19th meeting between the two schools and the ninth consecutive year that the Lions and Waves will open conference play against each other. In addition to wanting to kick off WCC play with a win, the teams will also be battling for points in the PCH Cup, the all-sport competition between the two schools. Pepperdine won the inaugural trophy last season but LMU currently leads this year's points total, 1.5-1.0.

There are two TEAM LMU Games of the Week this week as the LMU women's soccer and volleyball teams both take on Pepperdine for PCH Cup points on Saturday. The purpose of TEAM LMU is to bring Lion fans together as one, creating an atmosphere that helps build the Lions into champions, while allowing all to enjoy the benefits of our corporate partners.
