A 21-3 run by Bakersfield early in the game put the game out of reach as the Lions now head into conference play against defending champion Gonzaga.

The Roadrunners had one of their best shooting efforts in its history, going 36-for-60 from the field (60 percent) and 9-for-13 from the three-point line (69 percent). The Lions were just 24-for-60 (40 percent) and had another 19 turnovers that led to 26 CSUB points. Bakersfield also out-rebounded the Lions 42-26

With the score at 8-6 in favor of the Roadrunners, they went on a 14-1 run to go up 22-7 and then extended the run to 21-3 to build a 30-point lead at the break as they where never challenged the rest of the way. CSUB improves to 4-12 while the Lions fall to 3-13.
