GONZAGA QUOTES
Mark Few
At the half, I told Adam to start shooting (laughs). No, we needed to get a break going, we were too slow and made some adjustments to the zone and one in man-to-man. Besides Adam's scoring, going 10-plus on the boards was a determining factor.

We had a great game (against LMU) the first time. They really battled us; and are a strong, strong contender for the second spot.

Morrison has been frustrated; there's a lot of holding and grabbing going on away from the ball. He's a fiery competitor, besides his play, his great attribute is how he competes.

Worthy is a handful, he brings lots of pressure, lots of contact. He's a good finisher.

Adam Morrison
I played a horrible first half, but got a wide (open) 3 to start the second and they kept coming. Coach was calling a lot of plays for me; to shoot every time down or be a decoy. During halftime coach said to slow down, for us to take care of the ball.

LMU gave us a battle both times. This is an NIT or NCAA tourney team. They are doing well in the league and are definitely a program on the rise. We could definitely see them a third time this year.

LMU QUOTES
Coach Rodney Tention
On Adam Morrison... "He is A player. It might be one of the best individual performances that I have seen. He didn't have a lot of help from his teammates tonight and he rose to the occasion. He didn't force anything, he just made his shots. Individually, that was one of the best."

On defending Morrison... "Our game plan was to make sure our defenders were there when Morrison caught the ball. I thought we did a good job in the first half, he just took over the second half."

On Gonzaga's rebounding edge... "I didn't think that was a difference. There just wasn't many opportunities. We did a good job in frustrating (JP) Batista down low and we didn't make many shots. With Morrison on fire, there just wasn't a chance for us to get many boards."

On team's performance... "I though we did a good job in going down low and battling. I told our guys we have to take care of our business. Goal is to have a chance to play as many more games as possible. We prepare to win every game and we have to get ready for Portland. I am proud of these guys. We gave all we had and I am pleased of how all of them played."
