Aggers' Unplugged to Kickoff Season

Los Angeles, CA (Sept. 7) - For the second consecutive year, Loyola Marymount University men's basketball coach Steve Aggers will be making a speaking tour throughout California, giving LMU fans the inside scoop on Lions' basketball as the 2004-05 season approaches. The first Unplugged will be on Wednesday, Sept. 15 at Tony P's in Marina del Rey. The Aggers' Unplugged will feature coach's 2004 Roundball Review and gives LMU fans a chance to talk one-on-one with the coach, meet other LMU alums and fans and for the first time sign-up for season tickets. Season tickets for the 2004-05 season will go on sale Wednesday, Sept. 7 with the opportunity to purchase the tickets during the one of three Aggers' Unplugged. On Thursday, Sept. 16 the Unplugged will be held in Long Beach at Cirivello's and on Sept. 22 the event moves north to Burlingame at the Hyatt Regency. All three events will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. "This event is a great opportunity for me to get out and meet those who support the LMU basketball program," said Aggers, entering his fifth year with the Lions. "We have so many great things happening with our program and it is great to be able to share those things with our alumni and fans." With the sale of season tickets, Aggers' will have plenty to talk about as the 2004-05 schedule features some of the best in the nation. Season ticket holders will have a chance to see the Lions take on NCAA tournament teams Gonzaga, Washington and Monmouth and other local rivalries like Long Beach State for Homecoming, San Diego State and Pepperdine.
