Fairfield, Calif. – The 2026 West Coast Conference Men's Golf Championship has completed two rounds of play on Friday. The LMU men's golf team sits in 10^th place and will have move into the top four positions on Saturday for a chance to compete on Sunday.
 
Pablo Garcia Terol sat in sole position of first place after the first 18 holes with his opening round 66. The Spaniard's day began with three consecutive birdies and his first round concluded with four birdies over the final five holes to shoot 5-under. At the end of two rounds, Garcia Terol is tied for 16^th at 66-75—141.
 
Adam Pederson improved by a stroke between rounds one and two, finishing Friday at 72-71—143 and tied for 27^th in the 60-player field.
 
Trevor Algya also shot 143 after lowering his opening round by nine strokes with a 76-67—143. Agya's 4-under second round came after sinking six birdies.
 
Nateesh Anatha Ganesh recording matching 73 rounds to sit in a tie for 39^th at 73-73—146.
 
Louie Liu shot a 74 before being subbed for by David Gutierrez who also recorded a 74 in the second round of action.
 
The team score sits at 285-285—570.
 
The Lions will tee off from the 10^th Hole on Saturday morning beginning with Gutierrez at 8:30 AM and following in 11-minute increments.
 
The 2026 WCC Championships are held at Green Valley Country Club in Fairfield, Calif. Stroke play will conclude on Saturday and the top four teams will advance to match play. Live scoring will remain on Clippd by Scoreboard.
