Garcia Terol Named 2025-26 NCAA Division I Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar

NORMAN, Okla. – 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars for NCAA Division I have been announced by the GCAA. LMU's Pablo Garcia Terol earned the recognition following his sophomore season with the Lions.
 
Garcia Terol played in 10 events in his first season at LMU and finished in the top three on the team with a 72.50 stroke average. The Spaniard recorded 13 rounds under par, including his 7-under (69-73-67—209) at the UC San Diego Invitational (Mar. 22-24, 2026) to tie for third in the 104-player field. Garcia Terol's best rounds last season include his 6-under (64) in the final round of the OPCC Fighting Illini Invitational, and a pair of 5-under scores with a 66 to open the West Coast Conference Championship (May 1, 2026) and a 67 to close out the UC San Diego Invitational (Mar. 24, 2026)
 
To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate's degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
