DALY CITY, Calif. – LMU men's golf shot 3-over 286-293—579 on Monday's first two rounds of the Desimone Invitational. The Lions opened the day at 2-under after the first round.
Trevor Algya is the lone golfer under par for the Lions. The senior shot 1-under, 71-72—143 highlighted by eight birdies over the first two rounds.
Sitting at 1-over par is
Pablo Garcia Terol who shot 73-72—145 on Monday including a 3-under back nine in his second round.
A stroke back is
Louie Liu who opened hot a 69 before closing his day with a 77 for 146. His first round included four birdies to get Liu to 3-under after 18 holes.
Jackson McLaughlin used six first round birdies to finish his day at 73-75—148.
Rounding out the LMU five is
Nateesh Anatha Ganesh who shot 77-74—151.
As a team, LMU enters the final round in 14
th place in the 15-team field.
The third round will begin with Anatha Ganesh teeing off from 10 at 9:00 AM. McLaughlin will follow 10 minutes later, then Liu, followed by Garcia Terol, and concluding with Algya's tee off at 9:40 AM.
