WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. – LMU men's golf shot eight strokes better on Tuesday's second round of Pepperdine's Southwestern Invitational. The Lions moved up to 11
th place in the 13-team field.
Trevor Algya shot 1-over par on Tuesday and moved into a tie for 20
th place overall entering the final round of the tournament. Algya's 71-71—142 puts the senior in a six-way tie for 20
th.
Pablo Garcia Terol's 67 was LMU's best round of the day. Garcia Terrol moved into a tie for 29
th after his five birdie day. Garcia Terol improved by ten strokes and sits at 77-67—144.
Louie Liu finished under par on the back nine with three birdies and closed out his day at 72-75—147.
Nateesh Anatha Ganesh also shot under par on the back nine after sinking a pair of birdies and enters the final round at 75-74—149.
Daniel Bullen (79-79—158) finished at 9-over for the second consecutive round.
The final round will begin on Wednesday morning with all five Lions returning to the 10
th hole to tee off. Bullen will begin play at 8:20 AM, with Anatha Ganesh following at 8:31 AM, Liu teeing off at 8:42 AM, Garcia Terol starting play at 8:53 AM, and Algya beginning at 9:04 AM.
