LOS ANGELES – The LMU women's basketball team has officially added sophomore forward Ana Milanovic to its roster for the 2025-26 season.
"We are proud to announce the addition of Ana Milanovic to our program", says head coach
Aarika Hughes. "Ana brings a wealth of playing experience at the national level, along with a high basketball IQ, and we expect her to make an immediate impact on and off the court."
Milanovic joins the Lions as a transfer from Middle Tennessee State University. Originally from Belgrade, Serbia, she appeared in eight games during her freshman season with the Blue Raiders, recording a career-high six minutes of action along with one rebound and one assist.
Before starting her college career, Milanovic was a standout on the Serbian National Team. She averaged eight points and seven rebounds per game at the 2019 FIBA U16 Women's European Championship Division B. She returned to international play in 2021, posting six points and 10 rebounds per game, and continued her strong presence in the 2022 and 2023 U18 European Championships, where she averaged seven points and seven rebounds, and six points and five rebounds, respectively.
"Her fundamentals are exceptional, and she poses a unique matchup challenge, both on the perimeter and in the paint," says Hughes. "With a competitive edge, elite court vision, and natural instincts, Ana exemplifies the type of high-character, championship-caliber talent we seek to build our program around."
