LOS ANGELES - The WCC has officially unveiled the 2025-26 women's basketball conference schedule, and LMU is set to navigate a balanced mix of tough road tests and marquee home matchups as the Lions aim to make their mark in year five under head coach
Aarika Hughes.
The conference journey tips off Dec. 28 when LMU heads north to face perennial Gonzaga, followed by a quick turnaround against Washington State on Dec. 30, closing out the calendar year on the road.
The Lions return to Gersten Pavilion to open the new year with a four-game stretch that gives fans an early chance to see the team in action. LMU will host Santa Clara on Jan. 2 and San Francisco on Jan. 4 before a short trip up the coast to take on rival Pepperdine on Jan. 8. After a bye, LMU will welcome Oregon State to wrap up the first half of January on Jan. 15.
The schedule continues with a road date in Stockton, CA, to take on Pacific on Jan. 17 before returning home for another key conference matchup against Portland on Jan. 22. The Lions then hit the road for San Diego, CA, to take on the Toreros on Jan. 24. before coming back to Gersten for back-to-back home games against Pacific on Jan. 29 and Seattle on Jan. 31.
February begins with a road game against Saint Mary's on Feb. 5 before another bye the weekend of Feb. 7.The Lions then settle into a crucial mid-month stretch, hosting Pepperdine Feb. 12 and powerhouse Gonzaga on Feb. 14.
The Lions will play three of their final four games away from home, visiting Seattle on Feb. 19, hosting San Diego on Feb. 21, and closing the regular season with a northern swing to San Francisco on Feb. 2and Oregon State on Feb. 28.
