LOS ANGELES – The 2026 LMU softball schedule is officially set, announcing the Lions non-conference and conference slates. The Lions will host 27 games at Smith Field, opening the season at home on Thursday, Feb. 5 , against Boise State.

LMU kicks off the year with back-to-back home tournaments, beginning with the LMU/UCLA Tournament (Feb. 6–8), welcoming teams like Utah, UC Riverside, Northern Colorado, Utah Tech, and UCSB to Los Angeles. The Lions then hit the road to Riverside, CA for the CBU Tournament (Feb. 12–15) before heading to Palm Springs, CA, for the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic (Feb. 20–22) where they'll take on Rutgers, Utah, Texas A&M, Washington, and Team Japan.

The Lions non-conference schedule continues with appearances at the Cal State Fullerton Tournament (Feb. 27–Mar. 1) and the UNLV Tournament (Mar. 6–8), followed by a road matchup against UCLA on Mar. 10 in Westwood, CA.

LMU returns home Mar. 13–14, hosting Portland State and Southern Utah in a two-day event before traveling to Weber State for a three-game road series (Mar. 21–22).

WCC play opens at home on Mar 27 when LMU hosts Santa Clara for a three-game series. The Lions will then travel to San Diego (Apr. 2–4) before returning home to face CSUN (Apr. 8) in a non-conference matchup.

The second half of WCC play includes road trips to Seattle (Apr. 17–19) and Saint Mary's (May 1–3), along with home series against Pacific (Apr. 24–26) and Oregon State (May 7–9) to close out the regular season.
