CHAPEL HILL, North Carolina – Back in the NCAA Regionals for the first time since 2006, LMU men's golf completed two full rounds of play in the 2024 Chapel Hill Regional. The Lions shot 278-282—560.
 
The second round was moved to today due to the forecast of bad weather on Tuesday. Play was suspended due to darkness at 8:15 p.m. Four teams and all 10 individuals were unable to complete the second round. LMU was one of nine teams to complete the second round and sits alone at even.
 
Riley Lewis shot an opening round 65 and finished the opening round tied for second in the 72-player field. He followed with an even 70 to finish at 5-under, 135.
 
Trevor Algya is 1-under par with his 69-70—139 to tie for 24^th.
 
Mason Snyder opened with par before shooting 70-72—142.
 
Caden McMackin lowered his score between the first and second rounds, finishing his first 36 holes at 74-70—144.
 
Closing out the five, Cade Anderson shot 75-76—151.
 
LMU shot 19-under on Par 5s to lead the 13-team field. Algya and McMackin each recorded two eagles apiece and Mason Snyder added to LMU's team-high five eagles with one of his own.
 
The resumption of round two is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. ET. The third round, weather permitting, will not begin ANY EARLIER than 9:30 a.m. ET.
