LAKE NATOMA, CA - Over the weekend, the Lions women's rowing team participated in a two-day race at Lake Natoma, CA, delivering a commendable performance.

On April 6th, during the morning race, the V8 boat secured third place, clocking in at 06:50.3. Miami claimed second position, while Sacramento clinched the top spot with a time of 6:46.8. Similarly, the 2V8 finished third, completing the race in 7:16.5.

In the V4 race, the Lions attained third place, crossing the finish line at 8:09.8, while Sacramento and Miami secured second and first place, respectively.

During the afternoon races, the V8 boat competed against Tulsa and Sacramento, finishing as runners-up with a time of 7:02.3. In the V4 race, the Lions again secured third place, posting a time of 8:37.4. Tulsa claimed first position at 8:14.4, and Sacramento came in second at 8:22.9.

Last Sunday, the Lions participated in three races: the Varsity 8, 2 Varsity 8, and Varsity 4. In the V8 competition, LMU secured third place, clocking in at 6:49.6. Sacramento claimed second with a time of 6:45.3, while Gonzaga clinched the top spot at 6:38.1. In the 2V8 event, the Lions came close to overtaking Sacramento for second place, finishing with a time of 7:14 compared to the Hornets' 7:11.8. In the V4 race, LMU again took third place, completing the course in 8:07. Overall, the Lions displayed strong performances.
