2021-2022: Stroked the Varsity 8+ placing 7th at the 2021 Head of the Spokane… Competed in the Varsity 8+ in the annual scrimmage at the Port of LA against USC and USD… Raced in the Varsity 8+ against UCLA as stroke seat… Help the Varsity 8+ pace 3rd in the petite final of the UCSD Health Cal Cup event at San Diego Crew Classic… Finished 4th in the Stroke of the Varsity 8+ at the Dexter Lake Invitational… Raced in the Varsity 8+ at the West Coast Conference Championships, placing 4th in the stroke seat… Selected to the WCC Commissioner’s Honor Roll

2020 - 2021: Raced in the Varsity 4+ at the annual scrimmage against USC... Placed 3rd at the CVEATC Invitational as stroke seat in the Varsity 8+ event... Raced in the Varsity 8+ scrimmage against USD and UCSD... Finished 4th in the Varsity 8+ at the West Coast Conference Championships... Received academic honors as an LMU Scholar Athlete

Before LMU: Rowed for Redwood Scullers... Finished 4th overall in the Varsity 4x+ event at the 2019 Head of the Charles Regatta ... Competed at the 2019 US Rowing South West Regionals where she placed 4th in both the Varsity 4x event and the Varsity 2x event.

Personal: Born in Munich, Germany and raised in Morgan Hill, CA… Daughter to Manuela and Bernd Hoidn… Sister to Stella and Joshua Hoidn… Both siblings rowed collegiately, coxing at Barry University and rowing at Gonzaga University, respectively… Majoring in Marketing… Chose LMU “because I like how it focuses on educating the whole person and I also really like the small class sizes because you can create a stronger connection with your professors as well as held more accountable. Being in warm weather and close to the beach doesn’t hurt either.”
