LOS ANGELES - In their inaugural home race of the season, the LMU women's rowing team faced off against the UCLA Bruins and the No. 16 USC Trojans on a Saturday morning.
The Lions' V8+ crew secured a commendable third-place finish in the opening heat, clocking in at 6:13.47. UCLA claimed victory with an impressive time of 5:48.17, closely followed by USC at 5:46.3. The LMU 2V8+ boat also displayed a strong performance, clinching third place with a time of 6:12.47.
Moving onto the V4+ race, UCLA dominated the field, crossing the finish line first with 6:48.6. USC trailed closely behind at 6:49.17, while LMU secured their place with 7:33.69.
The Lions opted out of competing in the 3V8+ and V4 races.
