SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. –
Riley Lewis shot six strokes better in Saturday's second round than he did to open the 2023 NCAA Championships and jumped 13 positions in the individual standings. Lewis followed his opening round 80 with a 74 on Saturday and finished the day tied for 140
th.
Lewis opened his day with the morning wave teeing off from 10. After a pair of birdies over the first three holes, Lewis recorded seven consecutive holes of par to round out the back now through the first hole. Lewis recorded his lone birdie of the day with a three on the Par 4 sixth hole.
The third round will continue on Sunday with Lewis teeing off in the afternoon wave with an 8:22 AM tee time from the tenth hole.
