SANTA MONICA, Calif. – The fifth-ranked and top-seeded LMU beach volleyball team won decisively on Thursday over Santa Clara to open the 2023 West Coast Conference Beach Volleyball Championships. The Lions won four of the five courts in just two games, and responded for a three-set win on Court 1 to take the match, 5-0.

th-ranked Pepperdine. The two PCH Cup rivals will play at 10:30 AM from the Ocean Park Beach Courts in Santa Monica. The winner will advance to the 1:30 PM Championship Match with the loser having a chance to return to the finals by playing their way through the elimination bracket.
