Abbey Thorup was born on Oct. 3, 2000, in St Mary’s, Ontario, Canada…parents Ken and Tanya Thorup both played volleyball at Brock University in Canada… has an older brother, Sam, who played volleyball at Georgia College, a younger brother, Jack, plays basketball at Lambton college, and a younger sister, Ellen… Lists the Toronto Raptors as her favorite sports team…Greatest athletic thrill was qualifying for the main draw at the u21 World Championships & playing at NCAA Championships…chose LMU because of the location and coaches.
