GULF SHORES, Alabama – LMU beach volleyball went 1-1 in their final day of play at University of Alabama, Birmingham's March to May tournament. The No. 5 Lions, who started the season with a program-record 11-0, fell for the first time in 2023 to No. 20 South Carolina early Saturday morning with all five courts going to three sets. The Lions recovered with a 5-0 win over Mercer to close out the event.
