JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. – LMU men's golf placed in a tie for 11
th following the final round of the 2023 Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate. The 27
th-ranked Lions shot 289-292-291—872 in the three-day event at Blackthorn Club at the Ridges.
Mason Snyder led the Lions in his third-career tournament. Snyder lowered his score each round, shooting 73-71-70—214.
Trevor Algya shot 72-72-75—219 and
Riley Lewis finished a stroke back at 73-77-70—220.
Tony Hendricks closed out the scoring for LMU with his 71-75-76—222.
Rounding out the LMU five,
Caden McMackin shot 81-74-84—239.
Collectively, the Lions totaled 55 birdies, which was the third-most at the event.
The Lions will return to the west coast for the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational on Oct. 16-18.
