LOS ANGELES -- The Loyola Marymount University women's tennis team started off rough on Friday at Long Beach State, falling 0-1 early, after losing doubles play.
 
But to no prevail, the Lions begin to heat up quickly as the won 4 straight courts in singles to give team the edge over LBSU, winning 4-1.
 
Great singles play came from Veronika Miroschnichenko, Wiktoria Rutkowska, Eva Marie Voracek, and Isabella Tcherkes-Zade, to give LMU the victory.

This makes LMU's third victory on the season, and second straight as they move to 3-1 on the young season.
