HIGHLIGHTS AT LMU
2020-2021 • NO SEASON
LMU Women’s Tennis did not compete in the 2020-21 season.
2019-2020 • JUNIOR
Posted 1-1 record in singles… beating Natalia Munoz of Long Beach State 6-2, 6-2… Partnered with Katerina Filip in doubles… pair notably beat fourth ranked UCLA 6-3.
2018-2019 • SOPHOMORE
Went 1-1 in singles her second year at LMU... won 6-4, 6-1 against Kamila Umarova of FIU… Partnered with Eva Marie Voracek in Doubles… won 6-4 against FIU.  
2017-18 • FRESHMAN
Became first-ever LMU Division I All-American in women's tennis...WCC Co-Freshman of the Year...finished the year with a 24-10 overall singles mark while playing at #1 singles...earned a spot on the All-WCC first team as a singles player...reached the Round of 16 at the 2018 NCAA Division I Championship...WCC Singles Player of the Week on March 13...paired with Eva Marie Voracek, advanced to the Round of 16 at the Division I Championships, eventually finishing the 2018 season with a 23-8 doubles record...the duo was named first team All-WCC at the conclusion of the regular season and took home WCC All-Tournament honors on court one...Miroshnichenko/Voracek also garnered a pair of WCC Doubles Team of the Week selections (February 27 and March 13).
BEFORE LMU
Graduated from the K-12 International Academy… did not compete on a team prior to LMU, but was an accomplished individual player in Russia… won Cairo Egypt Singles title in 2016… 2015 El Sheikh Singles finalist while earning the doubles title at the same tournament… also took home doubles championship at 2016 Prokuplje Serbia tournament… Bethany Beach USA Doubles finalist...entered LMU as the 620th-ranked player according to WTA… trained at the Canas Tennis Academy in Miami, Fla.

Veronika Miroshnichenko… born in Moscow, Russia… daughter of Olga Miroshnichenko and Sergey Kuznetsov...has two sisters, Ulyana and Varvara… chose to attend LMU because she believes LMU has all the resources for her to receive a good education along with the opportunity to play college tennis and compete... a finance major.
