LOS ANGELES – The Loyola Marymount University women's basketball team has released its 2020 non-conference schedule, announced by head coach
Charity Elliott on Friday.
The Lions will open their 2020-21 season on the road on Wednesday November 25 against USC, in Los Angeles, Calif.
LMU will host UC Irvine in its home-opener on Thursday December 3rd, the only non-conference home game of the season. This will be the second straight season the Lions have met with the Anteaters in non-conference play. Tip-off for the home-opener will be at 7:00 PM.
Following their home opener, the Lions will head to Phoenix, Ariz., to play Grand Canyon University on December 5.
The Lions will conclude their non-conference schedule in Las Vegas, where the team will make an appearance at the UNLV Tournament starting December 19. The Lions will he joined by UNLV, Louisiana State University and conference opponent, Pacific. Matchups for the UNLV Tournament have not yet been determined.

The WCC announced that LMU has been picked to finish eighth in the conference by the conference's head coaches.
The Lions will head into a promising 2020-21 season, as the team only graduated two seniors, Brittany Reed and
Raychel Stanley. The team returns three starters, including
Aspyn Adams, CiCi Ellington and
Jasmine Jones, while the team welcomes two incoming freshman and three transfers.
