LMU Named a Top Ranked School for Division I Women’s Soccer in 2019 National Student-Athlete Rankings

TROY, NY – Loyola Marymount has been ranked number #14 for its Division I Women's Soccer program. This means Loyola Marymount is in the top 5% of schools in the nation for the sport. Loyola Marymount improved its ranking position 1 slot over the previous year's ranking of 15.

"It is great when someone outside your organization recognizes the value of your university and program," said Head Coach Michelle Myers. "It reinforces what you already know and you are proud that it is being publicized. LMU is a wonderful place to get a quality education and compete on a high level soccer program. I am delighted this news is being spread."

This ranking of best schools for student athletes takes into account both the athletic competitiveness of the specific team and the academic progress of the student-athletes on the team.

LMU's ranking tops local schools like UCLA, as well as WCC schools such as BYU and Santa Clara. The entire listings of Division I women's soccer programs can be found here.
