Round Two Results
STOCKTON, Calif. –
Riley Elmes shot 2-under on Friday to jump seven positions into a three-way tie for fifth. The LMU senior recorded his second round under par of the 2019 West Coast Conference Championships and sits with a 71-70—141.
"The course got tougher today with the wind up a bit and the firmness," said Head Coach
Jason D'Amore. "Tomorrow should be a good test of everyone's resiliency. The lead is still within reach for many teams."
As a team, the Lions are in fifth as well, shooting a 285-296—581, and are a stroke ahead of the three-way tie for sixth.
After leading LMU through 18 holes,
Raymond Navis is tied for 24
thindividually with a 69-78—147.
Gavin Cohen (73-75—148) and
Samuel Su (75-73—148) are each a stroke back of their teammate.
Following his Friday par round,
Justin Egelske sits in 40
thwith a 72-80—152.
The final round will tee off every 11 minutes from the first hole beginning with Egelske at 8:25 a.m. and concluding with Elmes at 9:09 a.m.
