LOS ANGELES, Calif., -- The Loyola Marymount women's tennis team is set to host three matches this week, including a break in their non-conference schedule to take on Long Beach State and two conference opponents Santa Clara and San Francisco.
The Lions match against San Francisco will be the Lions last home match and regular match of the season. Saturday's match will be Senior Day for the Lions, as the team will recognize senior
Elvira Juravliova.
The senior is 10-3 on the season and 5-2 in conference play from the No. 4 spot in singles play.
The Lions are led by the No. 80 doubles tandem of
Eva Marie Voracek and
Veronika Miroshnichenko, the pair is 8-8 on the season from the No. 1 spot.
The Lions will head into this week's matches coming off of a 1-2 weekend, as the team fell to No. 48 Utah and No. 36 San Diego, but beat BYU 4-1.
The Lions will interrupt conference play to take on Long Beach State on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. The team will pick back up conference play on Thursday to take on Santa Clara at 11:00 a.m. and then conclude their regular season against San Francisco on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
