LOS ANGELES, Calif., -- The Loyola Marymount women's tennis team (5-4) lost its first home game in two years Saturday afternoon against No. 7 Pepperdine, as the Lions fell 4-0. 
 
The Lions put up a fight in doubles play, as Elvira Juravliova and Camila Tumosa fell to Dzina Milovanovic and Adrikana Lekaj on court tree 6-3. Veronica Miroshnichenko and Eva Marie Voracek evened things out after beating  the No. 16 doubles tandem of Jessica Failla and Anastasia Iamachkine on court one, 7-5. 
 
Siobhan Anderson and Lillian Gabrielsen put up a fight against Ashley Lahey and Daria Kuczer on court two, but fell 8-6. 
 
Down 1-0, the Lions went into singles play, where Gabrielsen fell to Iamachkine on court six, 6-1, 6-3. Voracek fell to No, 80 Lekaj on court two, 6-2, 6-3, while Juravliova fell to Milovanovic on court four 6-2, 6-4, clinching the match for the Waves. 
 
This is the Lions' first home loss in two years, with the last home loss being against Gonzaga in 2017. 
 
LMU will head up to Moraga, Calif. next week to take on Saint Mary's on Friday, and then head to Stockton to take on Pacific on Saturday.
