Box Score LOS ANGELES, Calif., -- The Loyola Marymount women's tennis team picked up its second straight sweep, as it beat Cincinnati 4-0 on Tuesday, extending their undefeated home record.
The Lions have been undefeated at home since 2017 and are now 5-3 on the season and 4-0 at home this season.
LMU started the match off in doubles play, where the Lions quickly took the point after
Veronica Miroshnichenko and
Eva Marie Voracek beat Antonella Bramato and Alexia Coutino on court one, 6-0, while Yessica De Lucas and Lillian Gabrielson beat Maria Santilli and Amanda Huser on court three, 6-1.
Up 1-0, Miroshnichenko picked up a quick 6-1, 6-2 win over Iona Guna on court one, while
Siobhan Anderson beat Caroline Morton on court three 6-3, 6-4.
Elvira Juravliova beat Santilli on court four 6-0, 7-6 to clinch the match for the Lions.
LMU will be back on the courts on Saturday to take on Pepperdine at 11:00 a.m., the team's first conference match of the season and their biggest rival.
