Box Score LOS ANGELES, Calif., -- The Loyola Marymount women's tennis team picked up its third consecutive win, as the team swept Marquette 4-0 in its match Monday morning at home.
The Lions (4-3) started the day off in doubles play, where
Veronica Miroshnichenko and
Eva Marie Voracek defeated Natalija Popovic and Fleur Eggink on court one 6-3, while
Elvira Juravliova and
Camila Tumosa beat Isabella Franks and Milica Novakovic on court three, 6-3, clinching the doubles point for the Lions.
Up 1-0, Miroshnichenko picked up a quick 6-3, 6-1 win over Eggink, while Anderson didn't allow a single point from her opponent, Novakovic in the first set, coming out with a 6-0, 6-2 win on court three.
Tumosa took on Elisabeth Desmaraias on court six and came out with a 6-1, 6-2 win, clinching the match for the Lions.
The Lions will be back in action next Tuesday March 19 to host Cincinnati.
