LOS ANGELES, Calif., -- The Loyola Marymount women's tennis team will host Arkansas in its home-opener on Saturday morning. 
 
The Lions (1-3) will head into Saturday's match after a hard-fought match against USC, where the Lions fell 4-2. 
 
Despite the loss, LMU put up a strong showing in doubles play, as Lillian Gabrielson and Siobhan Anderson beat their opponents 6-3 at the No. 2 position, while Veronica Miroshnichenko and Eva Marie Vorackek beat their opponents 7-6 at the No. 1 position, clinching the doubles point for the Lions.
 
The Lions will take on Arkansas (7-2) Saturday at 10: a.m.at LMU Tennis Center. The Razorbacks started their season undefeated, but lost their last two matches. This will be the first meeting between the teams.
