Final Results
RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif. – Loyola Marymount picked right back up when the sun returned on Tuesday to take second as a team in The Farms Invitational. The Lions were led by
Riley Elmes who placed second individually.
"Another steady week for Riley," said Head Coach
Jason D'Amore. "Gavin and Sam stepped up this week and played solid golf. This should be a tournament for us to build momentum from."
Elmes took runner-up honors with a 70-72-72—214. The senior was sandwiched between a trio of Cal players, Collin Morikawa who took the individual crown at 67-71-65—203, and a stroke better than Sebastian Crampton (72-73-70—215) and K.K. Limbhasut (71-74-70—215).
With Cal's strong showing at the top of the individual standings, the team benefited with the Bears finishing as the only school above par at 21-under. LMU's 297-291-291—879 was five strokes ahead of third place Long Beach State (290-304-291—879). Cal and LMU were the only two schools of the 10 in competition to not record a team round in the 300s.
This is the second-consecutive top-two finish for Elmes, who tied for second with a 66-69-67—202 at the Arizona Intercollegiate to close out January.
In addition to Elmes, three Lions finished in the top 16.

Samuel Su tied for 16
thwith his 77-78-72—228.
Mason Glinski (77-78-73—228) and
Raymond Navis (79-72-79—230) rounded out the LMU five.
Competing as individuals,
Cameron Meeks and
Matthew Carungay tied for 30
thwith identical finishes of 227. Both improved their stroke count each round with Meeks shooting a 71-74-72—227 and Carungay finishing at 82-77-68—227.
