SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference has announced the 2019 West Coast Conference Women's Soccer All-Academic Team. Five members of LMU women's soccer has been recognized for their year in the classroom and on the field.
 
Jackie Fiacco, Annie Flora, Ali King, Olivia LaCasto, and Skylar Robledo all received Honorable Mention recognition from the conference.
 
Fiacco played 19 games this season, making four starts. She finished as one of two players with at least two goals and two assists on the team, and tied for third on the team with 21 shots and second with nine shots on goal. The senior scored one game-winning goal and holds a 3.48 GPA in Marketing.
 
Flora played in 18 games, making eight starts as a defender. Flora stepped into a significant role on LMU's back line and has a 3.44 GPA as a Computer Science major.
 
King played all 19 games this season, making 13 starts. She finished tied for the team-high with three goals and was one point off the team lead with six. King holds the team's highest GPA at 3.87 in Math.
 
LaCasto played in 14 games, making six starts this season. She scored one goal and added one assist for three points, and finished fifth on the team with 20 shots. LaCasto carries a 3.69 GPA in English.
 
Robledo played and started 18 games in 2019. She finished tied for the team-high with three assists for three points. Robledo led the team with 29 shots and 10 shots on goal, and has a 3.40 GPA as a Liberal Studies major.
 
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average while also being a significant contributor to her team and be sophomore standing or above.
