The Loyola Marymount University Lions men's soccer team (10-5-3, 5-1-0 WCC) wrap up the regular season on the road against the University of San Francisco on Saturday night looking for their sixth West Coast Conference victory. The Lions will also look for their eight victory in the last nine games played against the Dons.
The Lions have posted double-digit wins for the ninth time in head coach
Paul Krumpe's coaching career at LMU. If victorious on Saturday night the win would mark the fifth time the Lions have posted 11 or more wins in a season under Krumpe.
LMU continues to lead the conference in shots with 251 and are second in the WCC in both saves with 65 and shutouts with eight. The Lions are also third in the conference in goals (26), assists (29), points (81) and assists per game (1.61).
The Lions continue to get production from the entire roster with goals coming from 12 different players including four each from
CJ Neville and
Duhaney Williams. LMU also boasts a roster where 15 players have recorded one assist or more. In net,
Jacob Jackson sits at third in the conference in both goals against average (0.936) and save percentage (0.764). Jackson also ranks second in the WCC in shutouts with eight.
