Live Stats  | Live Stream

LOS ANGELES Calif., -- The Loyola Marymount women's basketball team hits the road this week to continue conference play, as the team is set to take on Pacific on Thursday and Saint Mary's on Saturday.

The Lions (10-9, 3-4) have forced their last two games into overtime, including last week's game against PCH rival Pepperdine, where LMU put up a strong showing, but fell 95-86.

Senior Bree Alford and sophomore Chelsey Gipson head to Pacific coming off of career high performances against the Waves, as Alford set her career high in rebounds with 18, while Gipson set her career high in points with 29.

Alford secured her spot for the second consecutive week as the West Coast Conference's leading rebounder. The forward's 9.1 game average has been key in the Lions landing themselves as the No. 1 offensive rebounding team in the conference, averaging 15.3 per game.

Pacific (12-5, 5-2) is on a three-game winning streak, while Saint Mary's (11-7, 4-3) has won its last two.

While LMU is leading on offensive rebounds, Saint Mary's is leading in defensive rebounds (27.7) and assists. Pacific leads the conference in steals with 10.5 per game, and turnover margin, averaging 18.4.

The Lions will take on the Tigers on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Alex G. Spanos Center, and then head to Moraga where they will take on the Gaels at the McKeon Pavilion at 2 p.m.
