LOS ANGELES – The LMU men's soccer team (5-11, 2-3 WCC) returns to Sullivan Field on Sunday, Nov. 4, for its second-to-last game of the season against San Diego (6-7-4, 2-1-2 WCC). The Lions and Toreros will kick off at 2 p.m.

LMU stands at 5-11 and 2-3 in WCC matches on the season. The team has lost three straight after winning three of their previous four games.
Despite a strong second half last Sunday against the undefeated Saint Mary's Gaels in LMU's last match, the Lions fell 3-2. The Gaels scored all three of their goals in the game's opening 25 minutes to take a commanding 3-0 lead and LMU fought back with two goals in the second half to make it 3-2, but it was not enough to get past Saint Mary's. Sophomore
Kris Fourcand leads LMU in scoring and total points on the season with four goals and nine points. Senior
Antonio Porreco is the Lions' leading assist leader with five. He also has one goal and seven points in 2018. LMU goalkeeper
Paul Lewis has a record of 5-9 with 54 total saves and a save percentage of .667.
Freshman
Mitchell Wilson stepped into the net the last two games as Lewis received a red card vs. Pacific on Oct. 26 and was suspended for the Saint Mary's game on Oct. 28. In a combined 112 minutes over the last two matches, Wilson had eight saves with three goals allowed.
USD is 6-7-4 on the season with a 2-1-2 record in conference play. They defeated Pacific 2-1 at home in their most recent game on Oct. 28. Miguel Berry is the team's leading scorer with six goals and two assists on the season. The team's starting goalkeeper, Matt Wiher, has recorded 57 saves for a save percentage of .826 in 14 games in 2018.
Sunday is 'Kids Day' at Sullivan Field, sponsored by Coca Cola. There will be a bounce house on site and several other activities for children in attendance. Join the Lions for a fun-filled day on the Bluff!
