LOS ANGELES – Loyola Marymount men's golf closes out October with three rounds in Princeville, Kaua'I from Oct. 28-30, 2018. The Lions are one of 20 teams headed to the Princeville Makai Golf Club this weekend.
"Hawaii is always a special trip for our guys, everyone is very excited to go," said Head Coach
Jason D'Amore. "The golf course should be yielding lots of birdies this week, so we will be looking to keep our foot on the gas and have a great finish to our fall season. Everyone looks like they are playing well going into this event and we are excited about that"
The five Lions to travel and compete will be
Riley Elmes,
Mason Glinski,
Justin Egelske,
Raymond Navis, and
Kyle Kinnane.
Twenty teams will compete, including returning champion Louisville. Joining LMU and Louisville are Army West Point, Cal Poly, Cal State Fullerton, Denver, East Tennessee State, Hawai'I, Idaho, Louisiana, McNeese State, Mississippi, Missouri, Pepperdine, Purdue, Sam Houston State, San Diego, UAB, UMKC, and Utah Valley,
The tournament is set up with 18 holes played each day for a total of 54 holes on the Par 72, 7,233 yard course. Each morning will begin with an 8:00 a.m. Hawaiian time shotgun start.
