LMU women's tennis will make the short trip to USC this weekend, competing in the Women of Troy Fall Invitational from Friday through Sunday. The event will be run as a hidden dual. In addition to LMU, USC, Arizona, Oregon and Cal State Fullerton will participate in the tournament.
LMU is scheduled to send five players to the Invitational this weekend after being represented by four players at the Long Beach State invitational last weekend. Sophomores
Eva Marie Voracek and
Veronica Miroshnichenko did not compete last week, but represented LMU at the ITA All-American Championships earlier this fall.
The schedule will be as follows and will run in match-play format:
Friday
Doubles: 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Singles: 11 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.
Saturday
Doubles: 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Singles: 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Sunday
Doubles: 10 a.m.
Singles: 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Following the competition, LMU will prepare for the ITA Regionals beginning October 18.
