LOS ANGELES â€" The Loyola Marymount women's basketball team hosts the BYU Cougars on Thursday, Jan. 18 at 12 p.m. Thursday's game serves as Education Day at The Pavilion, with all children receiving free admission. Kids who sport the most LMU gear will win a prize during the game. All LMU students will also receive free admission with their OneCards.

The Lions hope to snap a three-game losing skid with a win over BYU on Thursday. LMU is 11-6 overall this season, going 7-3 at home and 4-3 on the road, with a 3-3 WCC record. BYU is 10-7 in 2017-18, 3-5 on the road and 7-2 at home, with a 5-1 conference record.
The Cougars have won four straight games against Santa Clara, Pepperdine, Pacific and San Francisco.
Following Thursday's contest, the Lions travel to Portland to take on the Pilots at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20. LMU returns home to take on rival Pepperdine at on Thursday, Jan. 25 at 7 p.m.
