Sept. 19, 2016 SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Charlee Pruitt of the LMU women's soccer team has been named the WCC Player of the Week, as announced by the conference Monday.
Pruitt tallied a career-high 10 stops in net to hold No. 24 Texas Tech's attack at bay en route to a 1-1 draw with the Red Raiders Friday night at Sullivan Field.
The Rancho Cucamonga, California native made several key saves throughout the contest, including three stops in the first overtime to send the match into a second frame of extra time.
Pruitt and the Lions will return to the pitch Friday, Sept. 23 for a 7 p.m. clash against Nebraska-Omaha.
