LOS ANGELES - - The West Coast Conference women's soccer programs will once again feature a record number of broadcasts as announced with the 2016 broadcast schedule. The upcoming season features the most comprehensive slate of matches on traditional and digital spaces to date. And LMU will be a key feature.
The feature broadcast of the slate will be at Sullivan Field. As part of the West Coast Conference's agreement with ESPN, one key regular season women's soccer match will appear on ESPNU and WatchESPN. Preseason No. 25 Loyola Marymount will host preseason No. 16 BYU Thursday, October 6 at 8 p.m. from Sullivan Field in a meeting between two teams that both advanced to NCAA Tournament play last season.
During the 2016 season, 78 West Coast Conference men's soccer matches will be aired live and free of charge on TheW.tv. The majority of the schedule will feature contests produced by member institutions and includes at least five games from all eight programs.
BYUtv will also produce seven BYU women's soccer home contests live from South Field in Provo, Utah to a worldwide audience via BYUtv.com. Three games broadcast by BYUtv will be West Coast Conference matches.
In addition, 13 contests featuring member institutions will air on regional television over the course of the non-conference season with 10 games on the Pac-12 Networks, two games on Comcast SportsNet Northwest and one game on the Big Ten Network.
