Freshman Elivira Juravliova defeated Matea Cutura, 6-3, 6-3, on court four of singles play, but #11 Pepperdine (11-2, 1-0 WCC) won out on all the other courts en route to a 6-1 victory over LMU (5-8, 0-1 WCC) on Saturday afternoon in Malibu, Calif.

Juravliova has now won seven straight matches.

Although it did not play out, LMU's doubles pairing of Jessica Perez and Juravliova hung tough with #29 Luisa Stefani and Apichaya Runglerdkriangkra, playing to 4-4 before the doubles point was decided on the other two courts.

With the win, Pepperdine earned a point in the Wells Fargo PCH Cup. The standings now favor LMU, 7.5-6.

LMU will return home for its next match, hosting Pacific in WCC play on April 1 at 1:30 pm.
